Getting Started

New to CDXStreamer? Follow along step by step — pick a tool below and we'll walk you through the entire process from upload to results.

Address Verification

Verify and correct US mailing addresses in bulk. Get standardized addresses with Zip+4, delivery point codes, and congressional districts — with optional geocoding and driving distance add-ons.

Navigate to the tool

Head to the Address Verification page. You'll see a brief overview of the tool and a file upload zone at the top. No account is needed to get started — you can try the tool as a guest.

Upload your file

Drag and drop your file into the upload zone, or click "browse" to select it. We support CSV, Excel (.xlsx/.xls), TSV, and OpenDocument (.ods) files with up to 20,000 rows. Your file should contain address data — it can be split across columns (street, city, state, zip) or combined in a single column.

Tips

  • Headers are optional — our AI can detect columns without them
  • Combined fields like "123 Main St, Springfield, IL 62704" work great
  • Multi-sheet Excel files will prompt you to pick a sheet

AI maps your columns

Our AI analyzes your file and automatically detects which columns contain address, city, state, and zip code data. Each mapping shows a confidence score so you can see how certain the detection is. If anything looks wrong, you can manually adjust the mapping by selecting a different column from the dropdown.

Tips

  • Green confidence scores mean a strong match
  • You can switch any column mapping with the dropdown selector
  • The data preview shows sample values to help you verify

Configure options & add-ons

Address Verification includes three optional add-ons you can enable: Geocoding (adds latitude/longitude to each verified address, +$0.02/row), Driving Distance (calculates distance and travel time from each address to a hub point, +$0.04/row), and Demographics by Zip (attaches 41 Census/ACS columns — population, income, housing, employment — by verified zip, +$0.02/row). Toggle them on or off based on your needs.

Tips

  • Add-ons use the corrected address for maximum accuracy
  • Driving Distance requires a hub address — enter it when you enable the add-on
  • Demographics is keyed off the verified zip — no extra mapping needed
  • You can skip add-ons entirely and just verify addresses

Preview your results

Before you pay, you'll see a free preview of the first rows processed with real results. The preview shows the corrected address, Zip+4, match status, and any add-on data. You'll also see the total cost based on your row count and the per-row rate ($0.02/row for verification, $19.95 minimum).

Tips

  • Preview rows are real results, not samples
  • The cost estimate includes all selected add-ons
  • If something looks wrong, go back and adjust your column mapping

Get your report

Once processing completes, your full report is ready. You can view results in an interactive table in the browser, with summary statistics and a map view if geocoding was enabled. Download your results as CSV, a multi-tab Excel workbook with charts and summary stats, or a branded PDF report.

  • The Excel report includes a summary tab with match rate statistics
  • Map view shows all geocoded addresses on an interactive map
  • Reports are saved to your account if you're logged in
